Over the years, my practice of working with individuals suffering from trauma, anxiety, and co-occurring issues in diverse settings has developed into a mind-body approach rooted in neuroscience and relational dynamics. Working with families, adolescents, adults, and couples has provided extensive experience in understanding the complexities of trauma, anxiety, and relational dynamics. Optimizing emotional intelligence, relieving anxiety, developing mind-body awareness, and improving connections in relationships are common goals in my practice.
Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is an evidence-based adjunctive treatment to psychotherapy for individuals struggling with symptoms of complex trauma and PTSD. TCTSY is rooted in Hatha yoga forms and yet is a distinctly unique yoga practice as it emphasizes choice-making, compassionate awareness, and attunement to one’s needs in the moment.
